Never give up on speaking your truth Ignore all others who think it’s obtuse
Never give up on shining your light
Keep shining and shining, oh so bright
We are needed unique in all we do
Only one of us can make our own dreams come true
Keep following and following with all your heart
The story of your soul you need to impart

Soul Dancer
We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
the beat, rhythm, the tempo
of the universe
is within us
in all we seek
We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
the whirling, twirling, the movement
of our splendid souls
creative compassion
Through the hand that gives
We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
our hearts are guides
intuition flies
to the beat
honouring all that is

Alleviate Suffering
We are the stewards of this world Although She would be better without us Truly is a beautiful place Most people don’t see it So rushed
Peace evades our hearts and minds Pursuing our whims and actions Fulfilling our own every need The individual self, a false sanctuary
We truly are the stewards of this world And to all that’s living, a blessing Extension of God’s heart and soul Embracing all others, alleviates suffering

Haiti Wipeout: suffering unites
Destruction and devastation in Haiti after the earthquake. Many were seen walking the streets shocked and dazed. (Photo submitted by Matthew Marek, American Red Cross/International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies)
Warnings were given On Haiti’s behalf Poor emergency services Vulnerable economy All building structures a farce
Good people living
On shaky land
Fragile foundations solid as sand
Trusting the elements
They moved through life
All we have is the moment
They taught what is right
But we didn’t notice, too busy to see
Our brothers and sisters threatening calamity
It came and it hit: Haiti Wipeout
A 7.0 earthquake showed what its all about
Quality of living and human rights
Never forgetting family
In the light or the night
Our freedom connects everything we do
We are one in this life
Completely true
Our suffering unites us
Shows our strength
Humanity’s spirit
Boundless length

Blessing All Hearts Under The Moon
A buddha sits with mind affixed
On the breath, in and out
As one
Observes vibrations
Rising, falling sensations
Without attaching to any one
Understands the nature
Of the pain and pleasant caper
Impermanence the underlying tune
For every living being
Compassion is needed brimming
In our hearts right now, not soon

The Atlas-Orthogonal Rap
I bent over and bent some more
Until I was nearly touching the floor
I thought my MS had seen it all
That was when Chiropractic
Came knocking at my door
If only I had discovered earlier
My upper cervical atlas was in disaster
From a fall as a small girl
Fell off a horse who’d taken a spell
Catapulted into a shoulder cartwheel
My neck, the force: l’hermittes brewed
Electric shocks along my spine
Subtle sensations not so divine
All it took was a simple tap
22 years later
The Atlas-Orthogonal rap
Bridged an area in my spine
Where MS had been sitting all the time
Strengthened my core to the bone
Enables me to live comfortably in my own home
Despite the MS, I live my life
Getting better, recovering, through the strife

Everywhere
Everywhere around us Life constantly displays love Incites action in our living
Effortlessly issues love worth giving
Propels us to reach deep inside Overlook any need to hide Dismiss all debris full of pride Bare feathers of a bird that glides
Freely in the air of the mind Entertain impressions of the sublime Create a full and wonderful experience Expressing life, in all its magnificence

Not me, not me, only you, only you
Not me, not me, only you, only you With this determination All hearts will come through
Spiritually driven
To set us free
Underlying inspiration
To let each other be
The best of ourselves
Talented layered pearls
Elevate spirits
With the stories we tell
Portraying hearts
Expressing life’s spark
There is no reason to live in the dark
Set our sights on surrounding flames
All of us beacons in every domain
Guides to each other
To let love live
Embracing the Light
We’re living with

Neda Soltan: 'A Global Symbol of Innocence destroyed by Evil'
As evil is live spelt backwards Everything has gone wrong Neda Soltan was standing in the street Singing Iran’s freedom song
Civilian beauty it was her duty To shout and sing for truth To shed light on the dark Her purpose was not obtuse
Among so many rising against violence Demanding what is right Carrying no weapons Soltan’s heart and mind… her only defence and might
Shouting for justice was her only injustice In the street that day Neda Soltan stood in the name of freedom And a stray bullet took her life away …

Already Won
How will this ever end? Persecution’s a human trend In the mind of oneself Shaking the core of mental wealth
When health is wealth Being mentally strong Mindfully able to get along With each moment Whatever it brings Even in heartache, we know how to sing
And share ourselves Mind’s true worth With each other Especially oneself
Peace and kindness Issuing loving fineness Courageously giving love that binds us
In the heart, in our deeds The mind, it guides us Is our best steed To ride upon Life’s true song The journey, the destination Gifts already won

Roses
Outside my window is the tallest rose Stands proudly Elegant pose Pink rose Its petals Pink Soft and gentle A sight to seek
Ushering goodness Tenderness fair Blesses all eyes that see her there Standing tall Beauty galore Opens the senses To take in more
Of her light Blessing bright One knows it when breathing right With your heart Take her in Smell the beauty of her kin
Queen of flowers The rose she stands Beauty of this given land A gift, love’s promise
In your hand Reaches the heart of any man

As a Dove
We are One
We are strong
All together
We get along
Create a song
And a gong
Lift each other
And anon
Hold the cup
Ever up
Stoke the fire
Flicker luck
Hum the engine
Of true love
Ride the ways
As a Dove

Actions for Love
Action for reward Tarnishes action’s gold Not coming from the heart Actions can be cold
Actions for love: Hearts bursting with essence: Actions spark!
Goodwill for others Care for fellow man Time to show we really give a damn
To take them or leave them No longer can we do. Actions make dreams come true
In the labour of love, actions are great Fruits with which to celebrate
We may see them not
But they are there
Blossoming in the eyes of those who care
