It only takes a moment to pen
A poem singing and swimming in love
It only takes a moment of loving
To lift oneself above
The trials and tribulations of this life
The let downs and living rough
The disappointments and the blues
The people who call your bluff
It only takes a moment to right
The wrongs we may have done
People are so very forgiving
Living in the light of the sun
If it only takes a moment
To recognise love’s light
Open our eyes to see with clarity
The merciful capacity of human might

Rise Above
'If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?' - Rumi ♥
When every little itch causes us to scratch
When life’s simple rub imbues a rash
A tiny jolt may cause us to dash
Then life truly seems a difficult bash
Why oh why do our petals easily fall?
When we are so precious
Knocking to the floor
Every effort we have made
To be strong and tough in life’s parade
Strengthen up, lengthen our stride
Take each blunder with inner pride
We are so strong
Our spirits are a song
Beyond the touch of all earthly wrongs

Live It Up
Inspired to write this poem right now Celebrating life
Fast-moving as clouds
This is the time
No other exists To appreciate Life, our living gift
Life is here As it is The beauty is its presence And what it brings
To teach oh so very much To show the way Remind not to rush
Life is an opportunity To see the light Perform good actions Upon our flight
And meet with friends Share the love Our time is now Live it up

Beautiful Wings
Beauty is as beauty does Beautiful actions Defines hearts of a dove
Clear to see Beautiful wings They caress the heart With a heady blend
A golden hue Upon your crown Beautiful actions Uplifts the whole town
Inside out True beauty is deep Look within For the truth we seek
Sacred abode of the Powerful Owl Red crowned toad-let
Giant Burrowing Frogs too
of significant Micro Bats
Endangered flora
extremely rare fauna on view
Bambara is a home deeply revered
So culturally significant
Only our wise elders understand
The sensitive vicinity’s prolific ecological diversity
Crucial flora and fauna needs
The ancient and sacred existence of Aboriginal sites
Proclaiming a living past
Australia’s living history
Etched upon materials destined to shine in the light of day
Not tragically lost to fleeting development
‘This area has the greatest diversity of rock art in the world’ The world’s foremost authority of Indigenous rock art
Jean Clotti, has had her say
Many Sacred engraving sites are not even on the official National Parks Register What will it take to ensure this Sacred Land stays? To bear its ancient past, and fragile, vital organisms
to entertain our guests
with bush-walking, bush-tucker, bush-talking
Pristine waterfalls to relish
The adjoining National Park attracts 100 visitors a week
to the Mysterious and Famous Egyptian Hieroglyphs
playing a major part in Central Coast Folklore
for generations at least
Reasons are endless, the evidence is clear
we have an 80 year legacy to protect Kariong’s Sacred Land
At Beautiful Bambara
Let the endangered plants, birds, animals, and history be!
Protect Nature’s pure true beauty for the rest of time to see
(Photo: Jake Cassar...Wonderful Being who enabled the saving of this Sacred Land from sale. Now National Parks needs to claim it to ensure its ongoing protection... or Gosford City Council needs to purchase it as
promised, asap...)
* * *Sacred Land at Kariong saved from immeditate huge property development sale... now National Parks need to adopt Bambara as its rightful abode for ongoing, sacred protection COURT RULES NO DEVELOPMENT AT BAMBARA:
Come to me oh precious words Even when I don’t know what to say Come to say the words right through me Shine in the light of day
Come to whisper magic free Envelope inner stars Come to uplift hearts and mind Evoke our unique spark
Grateful to your morning lightness Grateful for your night Gratitude to your plentiful fineness Setting the pen right
Worlds of words
Whirl in our mind Shaping the way we convey Capture them like a mystical butterfly To live freely on the page •●♥Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ♥●•

Grow, Grow
Every blade of grass has its angel that bends over it and whispers, 'Grow, grow.'
-- The Talmud
All life force has its energy
Supports its creation
Invisible entity
Encourages growth
Moves with time Offers guidance Grow, grow Sublime
Our angel is near A presence clear Encoded with an essence Our heart’s steer
We're never alone Divinity is on the throne Directing our lives Guiding us home

*** Only the Madman Daily Zen Quote :-D
Only the madman is absolutely sure
Is certain
Definite
Can’t see anymore
Closed to all change
Possibilities too
No longer open
To life's issues
Attachment to knowledge
Is also not great
One of the hardest
To wipe from the slate
Freedom is knowing
Nothing is fixed
In a moment
Things change
Letting go is the trick

Three daily Zen quotes in poem
Everyday life is the way
There is no other better way
Embrace every moment
With all your might
Establish the path
On which you take flight
Maintain the body
Keep it strong
Good health is our duty
Makes the mind clear and strong
Reality is here
To see this is clear
We are that reality
It’s just you and me
We’re nothing in reality
Try to understand
And, in being nothing
We are everything
All over the land
* * * Share Blossoms
The most precious gift we can offer to others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will blossom like flower---Thich Nhat Hanh. Mindfulness is focused attention to present moment in a nonjudgmental way ♥
Offer each other our presence
Engage another with our mind
Sit with all your being
Share vibrations gentle and fine
Give the gift of mindfulness
Attentive, beyond all plots
Share blossoms of loving-kindness
Human compassion hits the spot

Be what you Love
"Let the beauty of what you love be what you do." -- Rumi
Let the beauty of what you love, be what you do
Let the beauty of your expression
Come pouring steadily through
Blessed are those who have found their work
To express their beauty through
Blessed those who know their worth
To keep on living true
Let the beauty of your heart
Take you where you need be
Let the beauty of your actions
Convey your mind with glee
What we love and what we do
Should be a hairsbreadth apart
It’s up to me and it’s up to you
How we use our life’s spark

Slaves to the Vibe
Slaves to all others We live and bow
Our lives are not ours Transient as clouds
We live for each other
Breathe and flower
We smooth the way
Giving is power
Serving all lives
Generates vibrations
Slaves to the vibe
Life’s Salvation
* * * Spiritual Streets
Horrendous suicide bombings are going on How long do Pakistanis have to endure this misery song?
The world feels your tears
Suffering sisters and brothers
Unimaginable fears
We bow to you beloveds
Sending you our love
Wishing you were here
Why does anyone need to live in fear?
The air we breathe
Should be a breeze
Gentle as a rose
Strong like a steed
Step into our hearts all Dear Friends
Let us walk our Spiritual Streets
Beautifully kept Magnificent human flowers, colours of all kind
Our hearts are the haven where humanity shines!

Great Human Flight ‘A smile is a curve which can set many things straight’ (Jann Cole LeBleu)
A smile is a curve that can set many things straight
Even a whisper of its presence is never too late
To ease the heart
The smile expands
Tilts the bend
Upside down frown
Cools the temperature
Soothes the soul
Lets you know
Wishes are well
Blesses the moments
Grins in tune
A smile can never come too soon
To heal the heart
Smile within
Vibrations usher to all living kin
Smile up bright with all your might
Ease the way
On this Great Human Flight!

The Story of your Soul
Never give up on speaking your truth Ignore all others who think it’s obtuse
Never give up on shining your light
Keep shining and shining, oh so bright
We are needed unique in all we do
Only one of us can make our own dreams come true
Keep following and following with all your heart
The story of your soul you need to impart
* * *
Bright Blessings
To be honest and kind Is the order of the day Living truthfully Is the only way
To create happiness Peace All that’s good Walk in light Be easily understood
Slow down our steps Breathe the beat See everyone Smile and greet
In the eyes Shines the light Deep within Blessings Bright

Soul Dancer
We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
the beat, rhythm, the tempo
of the universe
is within us
in all we seek
We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
the whirling, twirling, the movement
of our splendid souls
creative compassion
Through the hand that gives
We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
our hearts are guides
intuition flies
to the beat
honouring all that is

Alleviate Suffering
We are the stewards of this world Although She would be better without us Truly is a beautiful place Most people don’t see it So rushed
Peace evades our hearts and minds Pursuing our whims and actions Fulfilling our own every need The individual self, a false sanctuary
We truly are the stewards of this world And to all that’s living, a blessing Extension of God’s heart and soul Embracing all others, alleviates suffering

Haiti Wipeout: suffering unites
Destruction and devastation in Haiti after the earthquake. Many were seen walking the streets shocked and dazed. (Photo submitted by Matthew Marek, American Red Cross/International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies)
Warnings were given On Haiti’s behalf Poor emergency services Vulnerable economy All building structures a farce
Good people living
On shaky land
Fragile foundations solid as sand
Trusting the elements
They moved through life
All we have is the moment
They taught what is right
But we didn’t notice, too busy to see
Our brothers and sisters threatening calamity
It came and it hit: Haiti Wipeout
A 7.0 earthquake showed what its all about
Quality of living and human rights
Never forgetting family
In the light or the night
Our freedom connects everything we do
We are one in this life
Completely true
Our suffering unites us
Shows our strength
Humanity’s spirit
Boundless length

A buddha sits with mind affixed
On the breath, in and out
As one
Observes vibrations
Rising, falling sensations
Without attaching to any one
Understands the nature
Of the pain and pleasant caper
Impermanence the underlying tune
For every living being
Compassion is needed brimming
In our hearts right now, not soon

The Atlas-Orthogonal Rap
I bent over and bent some more
Until I was nearly touching the floor
I thought my MS had seen it all
That was when Chiropractic
Came knocking at my door
If only I had discovered earlier
My upper cervical atlas was in disaster
From a fall as a small girl
Fell off a horse who’d taken a spell
Catapulted into a shoulder cartwheel
My neck, the force: l’hermittes brewed
Electric shocks along my spine
Subtle sensations not so divine
All it took was a simple tap
22 years later
The Atlas-Orthogonal rap
Bridged an area in my spine
Where MS had been sitting all the time
Strengthened my core to the bone
Enables me to live comfortably in my own home
Despite the MS, I live my life
Getting better, recovering, through the strife

Everywhere
Everywhere around us Life constantly displays love Incites action in our living Effortlessly issues love worth giving
Propels us to reach deep inside Overlook any need to hide Dismiss all debris full of pride Bare feathers of a bird that glides
Freely in the air of the mind Entertain impressions of the sublime Create a full and wonderful experience Expressing life, in all its magnificence

Not me, not me, only you, only you
Not me, not me, only you, only you With this determination All hearts will come through
Spiritually driven
To set us free
Underlying inspiration
To let each other be
The best of ourselves
Talented layered pearls
Elevate spirits
With the stories we tell
Portraying hearts
Expressing life’s spark
There is no reason to live in the dark
Set our sights on surrounding flames
All of us beacons in every domain
Guides to each other
To let love live
Embracing the Light
We’re living with

Neda Soltan: 'A Global Symbol of Innocence destroyed by Evil'
As evil is live spelt backwards Everything has gone wrong Neda Soltan was standing in the street Singing Iran's freedom song Civilian beauty it was her duty To shout and sing for truth To shed light on the dark Her purpose was not obtuse
Among so many rising against violence Demanding what is right Carrying no weapons Soltan’s heart and mind… her only defence and might
Shouting for justice was her only injustice In the street that day Neda Soltan stood in the name of freedom And a stray bullet took her life away …

Already Won
How will this ever end? Persecution’s a human trend In the mind of oneself Shaking the core of mental wealth
When health is wealth
Being mentally strong Mindfully able to get along With each moment Whatever it brings Even in heartache, we know how to sing
And share ourselves Mind’s true worth With each other Especially oneself
Peace and kindness Issuing loving fineness Courageously giving love that binds us
In the heart, in our deeds The mind, it guides us Is our best steed To ride upon Life’s true song The journey, the destination Gifts already won

Roses
Outside my window is the tallest rose Stands proudly Elegant pose Pink rose Its petals Pink Soft and gentle A sight to seek
Ushering goodness Tenderness fair Blesses all eyes that see her there Standing tall Beauty galore Opens the senses To take in more
Of her light Blessing bright One knows it when breathing right With your heart Take her in Smell the beauty of her kin
Queen of flowers The rose she stands Beauty of this given land A gift, love’s promise
In your hand Reaches the heart of any man
~~~
As a Dove
We are One
We are strong
All together
We get along
Create a song
And a gong
Lift each other
And anon
Hold the cup
Ever up
Stoke the fire
Flicker luck
Hum the engine
Of true love
Ride the ways
As a Dove
Actions for Love
Action for reward Tarnishes action’s gold Not coming from the heart Actions can be cold
Actions for love: Hearts bursting with essence: Actions spark!
Goodwill for others Care for fellow man Time to show we really give a damn
To take them or leave them No longer can we do Actions make dreams come true
In the labour of love, actions are great Fruits with which to celebrate
We may see them not
But they are there
Blossoming in the eyes of those who care
