Welcome to the playground of my mind

To gather here our hearts will bind

A visit oh so potentially divine

Sublime, we chime, in time, we rhyme

Creating our realities as we wish

Forensic Healing
 

I’m focusing on speaking my truth, my truth

No matter how difficult it is

Empowering to speak one’s truth, one’s truth

Combats potential emotional haze

 

Heals dysfunctions formed in childhood

Repercussions rarely minimal

When speaking your truth left you undone

 

Better being diplomatic

Quiet, calm, and non-reactive

The youngest sibling unseen under the sun

 

Loved but rarely listened to

I was so sensitive, offering nothing new

Born a decade behind

 

Craving to be older

Baring opinions brave and bolder

I assumed being an adult would be sublime

 

But now all the work is here

To heal latent emotions and help me steer

Away from a physical challenge I somehow created over time

 

I’m on a spiritual investigation

A detective for my own salvation

A Forensic Healing is helping to unravel this rhyme

Alive

Feel the beating of your heart
What are the emotions you wish to impart?
To express feelings in words is what sets us apart
In verbal communication humans can embark

Animals express in many other ways
The angst of their hearts when their babies go astray
Desperation of their calls, endless searching in the eyes
Encoded with the care of nature, humans aren’t the only ones to cry

Never dismiss nature’s subtle messages
In observing its language our perception grows
We’re really not so different, we strive to live and survive
We’re really not so different; it’s a blessing to be alive

I used to go out New Year’s Eve partying
I used to love to dance
I enjoyed being out socialising
Sharing good vibes with people was a great romance

Now on experiencing a walking conundrum
In my life, my health is on top
I’ll always cherish my memories of partying
My ability to dance non-stop

Have fun tonight you beautiful people
Relish every moment, it’s the last day of the year
And, when it hits midnight
Usher in 2012 with incredible cheer..!

Vision

Looking out the window
So much of the world to see
I missed distant detail with blurred vision
Looking at my computer was where I was set free

Looking out now I sit here transfixed
Beyond the window of my computer I see life
Abundant beauty to observe and to take in
Absorbing nature’s delicate features is life’s spice

Every leaf on the trees is unique
Encoded with life, colours and veins are a map
Guiding us to insight of oneness
Supporting all life in this world is where we’re at

World of Defined Sight

(Written a week following eye laser treatment)

Welcome to the world of defined sight
Akin to being able to see in the dark of night
So many more leaves seem to blow on the trees
I can now see the goings on in the distance with ease

Little ducklings roaming on our lawn
I can observe their cuteness and admire their mother from which they were born
I can witness the marvel of nature and the workings of her ways
Now my days are not wasted in a haze

 

Blurry vision used to get me down
A state that sometimes caused my heart to frown
Half-living in the world I was... my eyes were in a fog
Stepping into sunshine now ~ from my sight was removed a log!

Laser Treatment


Oh and oh to see clearly again
To correct my vision so I can grin
Widely because my two eyes can see
Definition at a distance, the wood from the trees

Oh oh oh to see again
Expressions of my beloveds, and faces on the rim
The writing on the walls
Distant dirt on the floors
Seeing with clear vision is every reason for applause

Grimy lenses I will kiss goodbye
The joyous feeling will make me cry
No longer will I need to sigh
Missing so much with shortsighted eyes

Blessings to the freedom Laser Treatment will bring
Allowing my heart to well and truly sing
I praise the surgeon and the scope invention gives
Now I can really begin to fluidly live

Connecting with another
Seems difficult to do
Searching for your beloved
Looking for a needle in the wood

Expecting ‘the one’ makes no sense
When all we have is now
Feeling complete in oneself
Is truly worth a bow

you were so wise
even now so many good folk don’t realise
the profundity of your embracing words

Mourning for thousands of precious lost lives
a commendable task of the soul-realised
refraining from rejoicing in the death of one

Proclaiming a living past

Etched upon materials destined to shine in the light of day

Many Sacred engraving sites are not even on the official National Parks Register
What will it take to ensure this Sacred Land stays?
To bear its ancient past, and fragile, vital organisms
to entertain our guests
with bush-walking, bush-tucker, bush-talking
Pristine waterfalls to relish

The adjoining National Park attracts 100 visitors a week
to the Mysterious and Famous Egyptian Hieroglyphs
playing a major part in Central Coast Folklore
for generations at least

Reasons are endless, the evidence is clear
we have an 80 year legacy to protect Kariong’s Sacred Land
At Beautiful Bambara
Let the endangered plants, birds, animals, and history be!
Protect Nature’s pure true beauty
for the rest of time to see

The Atlas-Orthogonal Rap

I bent over and bent some more

Until I was nearly touching the floor

I thought my MS had seen it all

That was when Chiropractic

Came knocking at my door

If only I had discovered earlier

My upper cervical atlas was in disaster

From a fall as a small girl

Fell off a horse who’d taken a spell

Catapulted into a shoulder cartwheel

My neck, the force: l’hermittes brewed

Electric shocks along my spine

Subtle sensations not so divine

All it took was a simple tap

22 years later

Bridged an area in my spine

Where MS had been sitting all the time

Strengthened my core to the bone

Enables me to live comfortably in my own home

Despite the MS, I live my life

Getting better, recovering, through the strife

Neda Soltan: 'A Global Symbol of Innocence destroyed by Evil'

 As evil is live spelt backwards
Everything has gone wrong
Neda Soltan was standing in the street
Singing Iran's freedom song

Civilian beauty it was her duty
To shout and sing for truth
To shed light on the dark
Her purpose was not obtuse

  Among so many rising against violence
Demanding what is right
Carrying no weapons
Soltan’s heart and mind… her only defence and might

  Shouting for justice was her only injustice
In the street that day
Neda Soltan stood in the name of freedom
And a stray bullet took her life away …
